Where do these cars come from?
We are selling vehicles on behalf of Federal, State and Local Government as well
as hospitals, statutory authorities, Emergency Service and other non-profit
organisations.
What types of cars are they?
As you would expect, a wide range of makes and models are offered with varying
ages and kilometres. Everything from family sedans and station wagons, to
hatchbacks, 4WDs, mini buses, vans and other commercial vehicles, some with as
few as 10,000km, others with up to 100,000kms. However, the vast majority of
vehicles would be around 2 years old and approximately 40,000kms. Ford, Holden,
Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Honda, Kia, Subaru – you name it, we’ve got it.
Just check out our catalogue to see what’s being offered this week.
Are they in “good” condition?
Most government departments take great pride in the maintenance and upkeep of
their vehicles. You will find that most vehicles come with fully stamped log
books and complete service history. The vast majority of these vehicles will
still be under the manufacturer’s warranty.
How much should I pay?
Government Vehicle Auctions is a wholesale vehicle market where both the general
public and retailers can purchase vehicles. Prices paid are dictated by current
marketplace conditions, which may vary depending on time of year. Commonsense
dictates that you do your homework before deciding how much to spend; we would
even recommend one or two visits to the auction to get the feel and atmosphere
of the auction and to gain a better understanding of the auction process.
